Diane has 20 + years of diversity and Spanish language experience with a proven track record of deep cultural and language expertise, strategic leadership, and people management skills

Her Spanish language fluency stems from a long-term, bicultural marriage, working and living in Mexico, teaching Spanish and World History to Spanish-speaking students and a brief stint as a Spanish court interpreter in the NYC criminal courts.

As an international educator at the University of California - San Diego, she has been afforded the opportunity to work with people from diverse socio-economic backgrounds, cultures, and languages. Teaching and mentoring students from all over the world demands that she explain the values, assumptions and behavior to those wanting to understand the U.S. culture and workplace from the outside.

This acquired cultural expertise led her to write a book called What's Up, America? A Foreigner's Guide to Understanding Americans. Her book turned out to be adopted as a textbook in a variety of courses including anthropology, cross-cultural and communication studies. It has also become a springboard for Diane to train corporate executives in diversity, inclusion and communication.

Change is an opportunity to grow. Allow her to be the catalyst for the change you want to see in your organization.  Contact Diane through the contact page.
